Frequently asked questions
What platforms are supported?
SocialSpool starts with X / Twitter, then adds LinkedIn and Bluesky in priority order. Facebook is later because Meta publishing is Page-only. Text posting comes first, with media support following once the publish loop is stable.
How does scheduling work?
You pick a date and time, and we persist a durable job. A separate worker publishes it at the scheduled time, then records the confirmed result.
What happens if a post fails?
Transient failures are retried automatically with backoff. Permanent failures are recorded with a clear error so you know exactly what happened. We never mark a post published unless the platform confirmed it.
Can I cancel a scheduled post?
Yes. Any scheduled post can be canceled before it publishes, and a canceled post will never be sent even if its job was already queued.
